Insect Services is your specialist for ticks, mites and insect pests. We perform efficacy studies with repellents, attractants, and insecticides required e.g. by the EU Biocidal Product Directive. Another focus is to develop and evaluate new control methods against arthropods. We also perform regular pest control operations. Our latest activity in the field of medical entomology is the development of a monitoring system for the European sheep tick, Ixodes ricinus. We maintain laboratory colonies of ticks as well as other hygiene and material pest species.
